Cardinal MILE Parent/Student Portal
The Cardinal MILE (Mobile Integrated Learning Environment) is entering its fourth year within Chippewa Falls High School. The Cardinal MILE is built to directly support the district's mega result:
"Students will graduate prepared to succeed in post-secondary education and careers, having the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors necessary to achieve their personal goals and contribute to the common good."
By providing students in grades 9 through 12 a district laptop or allowing them to bring their own laptop, it helps us meet three important objectives to help our high school students work towards the mega result:
1) Provide a connected, personalized learning environment that prepares students for the world in which they will graduate.
2) Empower students to be designers of their own learning and foster their own creativity.
3) Prepare students to enter into and interact appropriately in a technology-driven information rich global world.
In order to decrease the paperwork at the start of each school year, we are working to build an interactive web presence to make it easier for families and students to prepare themselves for the Cardinal MILE. For those families that are without internet access they may register at high school registration.
